The Style Lounge No.1 – Hair Colour Safety

Your safety is extremely important to us. At The Style Lounge No.1, we require a mandatory patch test before all colour, toner, lightener, or scalp-applied chemical treatments.

When is a patch test required?

• If you are a new client to our salon.
• If you haven’t had a patch test with us in the last 6 months.
• If you are having a different colour service than usual.
• If your medical history, allergies, or medication has recently changed.

How it works:

• The patch test must be done at least 48 hours before your appointment.
• It only takes a couple of minutes and can be done at the salon — no need to book.
• If a reaction occurs, please let us know immediately and do not attend your appointment.

No Test, No Colour:

If a valid patch test has not been completed, we will need to reschedule your appointment, and your deposit may be retained in line with our cancellation policy.
